Contagious diseases claim 130 lives in Mainpuri

Mainpuri, Sep 26 (UNI) The toll due to the deadly contagious diseases today mounted to 130 with the death of three more persons in the last 24 hrs here.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) A C Verma today said so far 130 people have succumbed due to malaria, fever, vomiting and diarrhoea in the district.

Meanwhile, the district had been declared 'malaria hit' and a special campaign started. Necessary medicines are being provided to the victims.
