5 IPS officers shifted in UP

Lucknow, Sep 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today transferred five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

DIG, Jhansi range, D L Ratnam has been transferred to Devipatan range, Gonda, in similar capacity.

DIG, Prosecution, Lucknow, A K Panda is the new DIG, Prison, Meerut headquarters.

P C Meena, DIG, Prison, Meerut headquarters, has been shifted to Jhansi range in similar capacity.

DIG, Javed Akhtar, who was awaiting posting, has been transferred as DIG, Railways, Lucknow.

Meanwhile, the transfer of DIG, PAC Bareilly, Brij Bhushan as DIG, Jhansi range, has been cancelled. He would remain to be the DIG, PAC, Bareilly.
