CM's contention of CVC green signal game to mislead Delhiites: Mukhi

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly today termed as ''a game to mislead Delhiites'' the statement by Delhi government that the CVC has given green signal to the state Government in the privatisation of distribution of electricity.

''It is astonishing to note that till date, Ms Dikshit has not handed over the case for investigation to the CBI but through back door she is propagating that the CVC has given green signal to her government in this scam,''Dr Mukhi said in a statement here.

''This is a new game of the Chief Minister to mislead Delhiites,''he said and demanded that Lt Governor Tejender Khanna immediately direct the CBI to investigate the financial scam commited in privatisation of electricity in Delhi, a fact, he alleged, that the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has admitted in its report.
