Youth suffers injuries in eyes as mobile battery explodes

Jaipur, Sep 24(UNI) A youth suffered injuries in his eyes when the battery of his mobile phone exploded in the Badanpura area in the city .

Doctors at the SMS hospital here said both the corneas of Mohammad Imthiyas's eyes suffered extensive damage as the particles of the battery struck the corneas.

Some particles have been removed while the efforts were on to remove the remaining particles that were stuck in the cornea.

However, doctors rule out any major damage to his vision.

The battery of Imthiyas's mobile blasted in his face while he was charging it yesterday, causing serious damage to his eyes.
