Navi Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) Sugar prices today went up by Rs 10 per quintal on lack of offers from stockists and lesser stock arrival from mills, traders at the wholesale sugar market said.

Small and medium grades (per quintal) gained by Rs 10 and Rs 15 respectively on increase in bulk consumers and retailers demand and weak advice from upcountry co-operative mills.

The trading will be closed tomorrow for ganpati immersion, traders added.
