Letter warning of bomb blasts fake: Minister

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy today said the anonymous letter received by office of Director General of Police (DGP) on September 21, warning of bomb blasts on September 25, was a 'fake.' Talking to newspersons after review meeting with top police officials on the security arrangements for Ganesh Idol Immersion procession here tomorrow, Mr Reddy said the letter lacked authenticity.

However, the police were tracking the persons who were sending the letters and making bomb scare calls in the city.

Over 25,000 police personnel would be deployed on security duty for the procession, he added.
