Elnfochips launches eltelliserve IP video server

Ahmedabad, Sep 24 (UNI) Elnfochips, a leading IP leveraged electronics systems solution provider, today launched 'elntelliserve', the world's first multi-channel IP video server with lowest per channel cost.

Elnfochips CEO Pratul Shroff said the 'elntelliserve' will enable new price performance points in the intelligent surveillance market as the video surveillance market has been witnessing transition from CCTV cameras to IP-based cameras.

He said the global surveillance market is expected to grow from 5.5 billion US dollars in 2007 to over USD 9 billion in 2011, and added that ''we see immense potential for eltelliserve as it provides industry standard inter-operability and easily integrates with existing analog cameras without scrapping prior investments.'' elntelliserve sets a new standard for network-supported security and video surveillance technology by providing robust video content analysis on multiple channels. The product offers multiple customer benefits including on-the-fly high performance video analytics that require only a few mega bytes of storage, reducing storage space and network bandwidth, Mr Shroff said.

elntellliServe is an ideal solution for homeland, critical infrastructure, transportation, banking and retail or wherever there is a need to migrate analog solutions to high performance digital solutions. It offers a scalable architecture that can be easily customised to build stand alone 4/12 channel video servers or multi channel server racks, he added.
