Demonstrations held against youth's murder in Manipur

Imphal, Sep 24 (UNI) People held demonstrations here today to demand punishment for the culprits responsible for a youth's murder.

Police recovered the body of the youth, identified as Thiyam Chandramani, from Kongba river on September 16.

However, the motive of the murder could not yet be ascertained, police said.

The agitators condemned the murder and appealed to stop such bloodshed.
