Court remands 12 YC activists to judicial custody

Malappuram, Sep 24 (UNI) A local court today remanded district Youth Congress (YC) President V Babu Raj and 11 others to 15 days judicial custody in connection with the police station attack case.

Malappuram First Class Judicial Magistrate T P Joy remanded them to judicial custody under IPC section 332.

The Youth Congress activists pelted stones at a police station, injuring the policemen on duty, while returning after a protest march to the Deputy Director of Education (DDE) on July 26, 2007.
