Six killed, four injured in road accident in Bihar

Sitamarhi, Sep 23 (UNI) Altogether six passengers were killed and four others injured, some seriously, when their car overturned near Premnagar village in the district last night, police today said.

Police here today said the mishap occurred when the driver of the fully loaded Tata Sumo, in a bid to overtake another vehicle, lost control and hit a road side tree before overturning.

While six, including the driver died on the spot, four others sustained serious injuries. People from the nearby villages rushed to the spot for rescue and took them to a nearby health centre.

The bodies have been sent to for post mortem, police said.
