Naxal bandh fizzles out in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Sep 23 (UNI) A Chhattisgarh bandh called by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) proved largely ineffective today.

In interio areas of Bastar and Sarguja districts, public vehicles did not ply and some shops shops remained closed.

A report from Ambikapur said that buses, cars and jeeps stopped plying to neighbouring Jharkhand last evening itself.
