New Delhi, Sep 23 (UNI) Two Japanese tourists today alleged that they were gangraped and confined for four days by three youth when they were on a visit to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.

An FIR was lodged at the IGI Airport police station after the two women managed to reach the Japanese Embassy here, police sources said.

The women, aged 24 and 25, came to the city on September 16 and proceeded to Jaipur for a day. On September 19 they went to Agra where they reportedly met two youth Sunny and Cecile.

Both the boys befriended the women with their pleasing manners and Indo-Japanese social behaviour. Later, Rajan, elder brother of Sunny, also joined the group.

The women were allegedly intoxicated and sexually assaulted by the trio. Both of them were confined in Agra for four days, one in an office and the other in a hotel, the sources said.

Later, the youth sent the women back to the city by a taxi.

On reaching the capital, the two went to the Japanese Embassy.

Medical tests conducted at the Safdarjung Hospital confirmed the charges.

The photographs of the three accused which were taken by the women were handed over to the police. A hunt was launched for the youth in Agra, the sources added.
