UPA-Left rift on Nuke deal may be sorted out on Oct 5: Pranab

Kolkata, Sep 22 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today exuded confidence that the difference between the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre and the Left Front on the proposed Nuke deal with the US would be hammered out on the October five political panel meeting.

" The UPA-Left political panel meeting on the Indo-US Nuke deal had taken place twice earlier and am hopeful that a negotiation clue will come out in the next meeting on October 5, " Mr Mukherjee said on the sidelines of a book releasing programe here.

Mr Mukherjee would leave on a ten-day visit to the USA this evening to attend the 27th UN Assembly international conference, where representatives from 110 countries would participate to discuss the nuclear issue.
