Shop burgled of Rs 4.8 lakh in goods and cash

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) A shop at Ishwar Nagar in Bhandup was looted to the tune of Rs 4.80 lakh in cash and goods yesterday.

The owner of the shop, Ashok Chhotelal Shah (54), has lodged a complaint with the police in this regard.

Mr Shah told the police that he had closed the shop at around 2100 hours on Thursday. He found that his shop had been looted when he opened the shop yesterday morning.

The shop owner told the police that 250 wrist watches totally worth Rs 350,000, thirty-five mobile phones totally worth Rs 125,000 and cash of Rs 5000 had been stolen.
