Swayambhara for the Disabled to be held near India Gate

New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) It will be a different ''swayambhara'' after all, as a large number of disabled people from across the country will gather near the India Gate here on Sunday to choose their life-partners.

''This will be a first of its kind congregation. It will be an opportunity for disabled people of marriageable age to meet and to decide on their own matches,'' said Basudev Badal, state president of the Rashtriya Vikalanga Party, which is organising the event.

The marriage ceremonies will be held later, he said.

The programme will be presided over by party president K K Dikshit.
