Soren not produced in court on health grounds

Jamtara, Sep 21 (UNI) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) president Sibu Soren was not produced in a local court today in connection with the three-decade-old Chirudih murder case.

Mr Soren, also the former Coal Minister, did not appear in the court of First Class Additionl District and Sessions judge Arun Kumar on health grounds, which the court accepted.

Two witnesses on behalf of the JMM president appeared before the court and their statements were examined.

So far ten witnesses in favour of Mr Soren have been examined by the court.

The next date of the hearing was fixed for October 3.
