Silver, gold close at a 7 month high on firm global advice

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) Spot silver and pure gold today closed at a seven-month high at Rs 18,130 per kg and Rs 9,565 per ten gm respectively on lack of offers by stockists because of distinctly firm advice from global and upcountry, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,130 (17,835) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,515 (9,425) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,565 (9,475).
