President Patil's family performs ziyarat at Ajmer Durgah

Ajmer, Sep 21 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil's son today paid obeisance at Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti's durgah to express the family's gratitude for her win in the presidential polls.

Ms Patil's son Rajendra Singh Shekhawat arrived here along with his family to perform ziyarat(pilgrim) at the durgah and offered chadars at the holy tomb on behalf of the president and the family.

The family said this was a thanksgiving trip to the durgah as the family had prayed before ''Khwaja Sahib'' for Ms Patil's success in the presidential polls.
