Micreants loot Delhi-bound Swarna Jayanti Express

Daltonganj, Sep 21 (UNI) About ten armed dacoits looted a coach of Delhi-bound Swarna Jayanti Express train and assaulted the passengers between Kajri and Rajhara stations under Dhanbad railway division.

Railway sources here today said the incident occurred at 1945 hours yesterday after the train from Hatia district entered Daltonganj station.

The criminals unleashed terror on the passengers soon after the train left the station and fled from the coach after 25 minutes with the booty worth more than Rs one lakh, sources said.

The injured were admitted to Garwah civil hospital.

A case was registered at Daltongaj railway police station and search was on to nab the culprits.
