WB: Decomposed body of CPI teacher recovered

Barrackpore, Sep 21: Police today recovered a mutilated body of a man from his residence at Khardah in North 24 Parganas.

Police said 65-year-old retired teacher of Kalyannagar High School Amaresh Chattopadhyay was found dead in his room adding that he had been missing since past five days.

The deceased, a bachelor, was an active member of the CPI teachers' front and was living alone in his flat.

The local CPI leaders rushed to his house soon after receiving the news of Mr Chattopadhyay's death.

The body was sent for post mortem and a case of unnatural death had been registered, police said.
