Transfer of power may not be smooth: JD(S) Karnataka Chief

Udupi, Sep 20 (UNI) Janata Dal (Secular) Karnataka unit President Mirajuddin Patel today hinted that transfer of power by the JD(S) to coalition partner BJP may not be a smooth affair.

Talking to newspersons at Karkala in the district, he said, without elaborating, that 12 days were still left and anything could happen He said former Prime Minister and party supremo H D Deve Gowda would have to sit with BJP leaders and discuss the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) of the Government and its implementation without any deviation.

Mr Patel was here to campaign for his party candidates contesting the September 28 urban local body polls.
