Street children to take flight of fantasy in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, Sep 20 (UNI) Children of underprivileged and downtrodden from Ahmedabad will be flown around the city in an aircraft by Jet Airways on Saturday as part of 'Friends of the Children' project, initiated by a non-government organisation 'aProCh'.
''Eighty-five per cent street children from Ahmedabad will take a flight of fantasy with Jet Airways from Ahmedabad Airport. From the ground, from their humble surroundings, they have watched a flight take off up in the sky and wondered what it is like to be up there.
We can only imagine how their hopes and aspirations will soar with the flight of their dreams,'' aProCh project coordinator Kiran Sethi told reporters here today.
