Rs 14,500 in fake currency seized, man arrested

Siddharthnagar, Sep 20 (UNI) A joint team of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and district police today claimed to have seized Rs 14,500 in fake currency and arrested a man in this regard.

A raid was conducted near a petrol pump and the fake currency smuggler identified as Azam nabbed.

The seized currency was smuggled from Nepal, police said.

The accused is a resident of Anupnagar colony of the district.
