Labour Minister holds talks on Aurobindo Ashram unit lockout

Puducherry,Sep 20(UNI)Labour Minister E Valsraj today held talks with representatives of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram here to find a settlment to lift the lockout of the handmade paper unit owned by the Ashram here.

However, there was no positive result and the talks would continue this evening, according to informed sources.

The unit had remained under lockout for the past 27 days as the 130 employees reportedly demanded a wage hike.
