KRIBHCO net profit stands at 193.24 cr in 2006-07

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd (KRIBHCO), a premier fertiliser producing cooperative society, has earned a net profit of Rs 193.24 crore during 2006-07 and declared 20 per cent dividend for its member cooperatives and shareholdres.

During 2006-07, KRIBHCO propduced 17.14 lakh tonnes (LT) of urea and 10.38 LT of Ammonia with capacity utilisation of 99.15 per cent and 103.51 per cent respectively, an official statement said here today.

Its Hazira plant in Gujarat maintained good performance during the period despite devastating floods in August 2006, it added.
