HM militant arrested with grenades in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 20 (UNI) A militant of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) was today arrested by the security forces along with hand grenades in north Kashmir, a police spokesman said.

He said Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and 21 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), during a joint patrolling, arrested a HM militant Mohammad Ramzan Bhat at Rajwar in the frontier district of Kupwara.

Later four rifle grenades and a rifle were recovered from a hideout on his disclosure.

The militant admitted that HM was planning to fire rockets towards security force and police camps in the Handwara area.
