Governor nominates three as GNDU syndicate members

Chandigarh, Sept 20 (UNI) The Governor Punjab, who is the chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, has nominated Prof Virsa Singh Valtoha, MLA Valtoha, Amritsar, Prof Ravi Shankar of Commerce Department in AB College Pathankot and Mr. Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal, MLA Quadian as the members of the Syndicate of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amrtisar.

They will remain members for a period of one year with effect from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008, a spokesman of the Punjab Governemnt said here today.
