EC re-schedules Varanasi division Teacher's constituency poll date

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) The Election Commission (EC) rescheduled the poll date for the Varanasi division Teacher's constituency to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from October 15 to November 2.

Accordingly, the notification date has been changed to October 9, last date of making nominations is October 16.

The scrutiny of nominations is been fixed for October 17.

The last date for the withdrawal of candidatures is fixed for October 19.

The counting of votes will take place on November 5 and the entire election process will be completed by November 7, the notification added.
