Gulbarga, Sep 20 (UNI) Discharge of water from Alamatti and Narayanpur projects across river Krishna has been increased following heavy inflow due to continuous rainfall in the catchment areas.

At Alamatti in Bagalkot district, 64,445 cusecs of water was being discharged to downstream Narayanpur dam in Gulbarga district.

The inflow was 60,878 cusecs and the water level at the dam stood at 519 m, officials said.
