Advani offers prayers at TN temple

Madurai, Sep 20 (UNI) Senior BJP Leader L K Advani offered prayers at the Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple here this morning.

Accompanied by Senior BJP Leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad, S Thirunavukkarasar and L Ganesan, Mr Advani arrived at the temple complex amid tight security at 0630 hrs to a 'poorna kumbha' reception by the priests.

Talking to the media, the Former Deputy Prime Minister said he prayed India become a frontline nation in the world.

Later, he left for Chennai in a private aircraft.
