Advani condemns B'lore incident, says Sangh Parivar hands clean

Chennai, Sep 20 (UNI) Senior BJP Leader L K Advani today condemned the attack on the residence of the daughter of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi in Bangalore on September 18 to protest against his remarks on Lord Ram and the Ramayana even as he denied the Sangh Parivar's hand in the episode.

Talking to reporters here today, he also condemned the subsequent torching of a bus in which two people were killed.

''I felt bad when I heard about the attack and the torching of the bus. I strongly condemn these incidents,'' he said.

Mr Advani also clarified that Sangh Parivar activists were not involved in the incident and the RSS had also issued a statement to this effect.
