2 policemen suspended for laxity in duty

Banda, Sep 20 (UNI) Two policemen were today suspended under charges of deriliction in duty, following the escape of a notorious criminal, here.

On September 18, criminal Vaseem Ahmad managed to escape from the clutches of constable Suresh Tiwari and Vijay Pal Singh, while he was being taken for a court hearing in Varanasi.

The cops had been suspended for laxity in duty.
