UDF's agitation over ISRO land deal foreseeing polls: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 19 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today alleged that the Congress-led Opposition had launched the agitations, over the ISRO land deal, foreseeing an immediate mid-term poll in the changing political scenario.

Talking to mediapersons here, he alleged that it was the previous United Democratic Front (UDF) government that paved way for the land deal.

He said the government would initiate an inquiry into the issue to bring all culprits to book.

The allegations levelled by the UDF against the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government and the Forest Minister were nothing but to escape from the inquiry, he added.
