Sufficient funds for relief in Mizoram: Zoramthanga

Aizawl, Sep 19 (UNI) Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga has told the Assembly that the state has enough funds for the flood affected people.

Speaking at the opening day of the two-day monsoon session of the fifth state Assembly here yesterday, the chief minister assured the House that there was sufficient fund for rehabilitation after the floods.

''However, we will require the Centre's assistance for repair of the damaged roads,'' Mr Zoramthanga said adding that the respective departments were working to asses the total damages caused by floods.
