Southern Mizoram reels under power crisis

Aizawl, Sep 19 (UNI) The three southern districts of Mizoram was deprived of power supply since the past few days.

The state's second capital, Lunglei had been cut off from power supply since the past four days compelling all newspapers to shun publications, and power based businesses forced to closed down."We has been living in the dark, lamented a journalist .

In Saiha, the capital of Mara autonomous district council, and Lai ADC capital Lawngtlai had been in dark since Saturday. The power crisis,caused due to break down of transmission post at Lunglei and Hnahthial, according to official sources.
