Pathankot soon to have private medical college

Chandigarh, Sept 19 (UNI) A private medical college will be set up near Pathankot to provide health care facilities in the area.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting between the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and representatives of the Khasa Group led by its MD HS Bagga here this morning.

In the meeting, Mr Bagga urged the Chief Minister to expedite the formalities so that they could start this venture at the earliest.

The MD also showed keen interest to start Adarsh Schools in Amritsar district as per the stipulated guidelines of the government.
