One more held for snake poison smuggling in Sangli Dist
Sangli, Maharashtra, Sep 19 (UNI) Police today arrested one more person in connection with the smuggling of snake poison.
Yesterday, police arrested 6 persons and seized from them about 180 milli-litre (ml) of snake poison worth about Rs 13 lakh in Miraj tehsil town of the district.
The arrested person was identified as Ramesh Tukaram Patil of village Dyalgaon in Karad tehsil of the district, said Police Inspector Bajirao Patil of Miraj police station.
With today's arrest, the total number of arrested persons has gone up to seven, he added.
