Jewellery worth lakhs looted in Ranchi

Ranchi, Sep 19 (UNI) About six armed miscreants looted four bags of jewellery worth several lakhs of rupees from a shop in the heart of the city today.

Police said the miscreants arrived on a motorcycle, entered the shop and overpowered three employees at gun point.

The robbers then locked the employees and shop-owner after looting the booty and fled from the scene.

Police said investigation was on.
