Devotees flock to witness 'Garuda Seva'

Tirumala, Sep 19 (UNI) As many as two lakh devotees witnessed 'Garuda Seva', the main event of the nine-day-long festival here tonight.

The processional deity, 'Malayappaswamy Varu', was taken around the four mada streets of the temple on 'Garuda Vahanam'.

The procession would continue till midnight to enable the pilgrims to offer prayers.

Police had made elaborate security arrangements at Tirumala and Tirupati.
