Trade union leader abducted in J&K , Targami express concern
Srinagar, Sep 18 (UNI) J&K CPI(M) state secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has expressed great concern over the abduction of state leader of Central Indian Trade Unions O P Samyal in Jammu region yesterday.
He urged the government to take necessary steps for early and safe release of Mr Samyal, who was abducted at Domail in Katra by some unidentified persons last evening.
Mr Tarigami said that Mr Samyal was coming after attending a meeting with labourers when he was abducted.
He said his driver was also beaten up by the abductors.
The CPI(M) leader said all labourers have gone on strike demanding safe release of Mr Samyal.
