Sept 30 declared Public Holiday in Nagar Panchayat, Nadaun

Shimla, Sep 18 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Government has declared September 30, as public holiday in Nagar Panchayat Nadaun, district Hamirpur, Ward No 5 for the conduct of bye-election.

All Government Offices, Boards, Corporation, Educational Institutions and Industrial Establishments under Industrial Dispute Act and shops will remain closed on the said date, which is a Sunday, in the area of this Ward to exercise their right of franchise.

This will also be a paid holiday to the daily waged employees and also within the meaning of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881, an official note said here today.
