Rs 3.65 lakh loan money stolen

Karur, Sep 18 (UNI) Some unidentified miscreants stole away a bag containing loan money of Rs 3.65 lakh, in broad daylight at the busy Bus Stand area here today.

Police said, Vangiliappan, a tourist cab owner had obtained a bank loan and was about to leave for lunch with his family when two persons came in.

They diverted the family's attention by spreading ten Rupee notes around and stole the bag from the car, before fleeing.

A special police team was formed to nab the culprits.
