Razing of bungalow case posted to Sep 25
Lucknow, Sep 18 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today set September 25 for hearing, an application for impleadment of chief minister Mayawati in a pending petition related to razing of government bungalows in the posh Mall Avenue area here.
A single judge bench of Justice Vikram Nath passed this order on the application filed by Uttar Pradesh Janhit Sangathan.
Meanwhile, the state government filed an affidavit in the case and the court gave a week's time to the petitioner for filing a rejoinder.
The petitioner had contended that the razing of four government bungalows for reasons of security on the orders of the CM came under the purview of contempt and that Mayawati be made a party to the case.
