Rashtrapati Bhavan denies intervening in clearance of film

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) The President's Secretariat today denied that the film 'Final Solutions' by Rakesh Sharma on the Godhra riots and its aftermath was cleared by the Film Censor Board due to the intervention of the Ms Pratibha Devisingh Patil.

There have been reports in certain quarters of the media recently that the film was cleared after Ms Patil's intervention.

''These reports are factually incorrect, as the President has not in any way intervened in the matter,'' said a release from Rashtrapati Bhavan.
