NABARD to provide Rs 174.84 cr for roads, bridges in AP
Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned 125 road and four bridge projects, involving loan assistance of Rs 174.84 crore, to the Andhra Pradesh Government.
The projects were sanctioned under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF-XIII) by Project Sanctioning Committee in a meeting held in New Delhi yesterday, a release said here today.
The projects would be implemented by Tribal Welfare Engineering Department (63 roads) and Roads and Buildings Department (62 roads and for bridges) in 17 districts.
The aggregate length of the proposed roads would be 844.53 km and that of bridges 158.71 metres.
