Markfed to organise cycle rally on Sept 20

Chandigarh, Sept 18 (UNI) A cycle rally organised by Markfed in the memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, whose birth centenary is being celebrated at national level, will be flagged off by Punjab Cooperation Minister Capt Kanwaljit Singh from Markfed head office here on September 20.

Stating this here today, Markfed Managing Director G S Grewal said that the 5-day cycle rally would be a tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh from Markfed.

He further said that this rally would pass through districts of Mohali, Ropar, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar and reach Amritsar at Jallianwala Bagh on September 24.
