Dalit girl pressurised to lodge false police complaint

Shivpuri, MP, Sep 18 (UNI) Two people have been arrested for allegedly putting pressure on a dalit teenager to lodge a false rape complaint against a person at Khajuri village in this district, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Dinesh Chandra Sharma said Vikram Thakur and Pradip Pal were forcing their friend Phool Singh's daughter to lodge a false rape complaint against 'bataidar (share-cropper)' Rakesh Yadav.

Both intended to dupe Rakesh of good crop.

However, the dalit girl lodged a complaint against the duo.
