CII-KU Communication Skills Prog for SC/ST Students Launched

Kurukshetra, Sept 18 (UNI) A Soft Skills Development Programme for the SC/ST students under the CII mandate of Affirmative Action was launched here today.

Mr Raman Saluja, Vice Chairman, CII Haryana State Council while addressing the students in the Kurukshetra University Auditorium, said CII and the University had joined hands on imparting soft and communication skills to its Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe students in collaboration with Hero Mind Mine as the resource partner.

''The project is an example of self-regulated constructive role of the industry and in sync with CII Northern Region's theme of "Building People: Building North: Building India",'' he said.

Under the project, the students will be coached by Hero Mind Mine through Soft skills and Communication Skills training.

Also a significant numbers of the students will be coached by the in-house faculty of Kurukshetra University, a press release said here today.
