Two prosecution witnesses dispose in Thandal case

Rupnagar, Sep 17 (UNI) Two prosecution witnesses in the disproportionate assets case against former Punjab minister of state for food and supplies and present Akali MLA from Mahilpur Sohan Singh Thandal supported the prosecution version during the recording of prosecution evidence in the court of Rupnagar Special Judge G S Saran today.

The prosecution witnesses from DC Office Mansa, clerk Mukesh Kumar and Ajnoha (Hoshiarpur) Sub Post Master Baldev Singh deposed in the court.

In his deposition Mukesh Kumar stated that he was posted in SDM office, Garhshanker in 2003 and had transferred a car of one Balbir Singh in the name of Thandal.He also produced affidavits of both the parties in the court.

Sub Post Master Baldev Singh produced documents relating to Kisan Vikas Patras purchased by the Thandal family, in the court.

The recording of prosecution evidence would also continue tomorrow, when Joga Singh and Harwinder Singh would deposed in the court.
