Togadia launches nationwide agitation to protect 'Ram Sethu'

Thrissur, Sep 17 (UNI) Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Secretary-General Praveen Togadia today launched a nationwide agitation to protect the historic 'Ram Sethu' bridge at Guruvayoor near here.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Togadia said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should apologise to the nation for hurting the sentiments of Hindus on this issue.

Mr Togadia said ''All Hindu believers can enter the temple, but non-believers should be barred entry.'' The VHP leader also offered prayers at the Guruvayoor Krishna Temple here.
